Add long-term health goal trends (VO2 Max and Strength)
Quinn Comendant
VO2 Max and Strength are two of the best predictors of longevity. It would be great to see them on a dashboard which is tracking long-term health goals. VO2 Max is easy because we can use the data straight from Apple Health. Strength is something I hope Bevel can calculate from progression in workout measurement.

We have something coming soon for this :) I'll merge it with an existing ticket

VO2max tab for the Health monitor
Eric Gasser
I absolutely adore this app and the new Strength Builder feature is fantastic! It's been a game-changer for my workouts. However, I would love to see a VO2max tab added to the Health Monitor. VO2max is crucial as it measures the maximum amount of oxygen your body can utilize during exercise, indicating your cardiovascular fitness level. Having this feature would provide invaluable insights into my overall health and fitness progress.

Workout detail info
Mohammed Zaki
Hi
Just looked at superset app recently and it is very promising however the workouts details are not enough for now.
We need to see the TRIMP, Training load focus, training effect on HR , cardio fitness (vo2max), etc.
Couple of screen shots attached for reference.
Thanks!

Hi Mohammed Zaki, We have multiple planned tickets for the requests that you asked for. You can search them via the search bar and upvote them so that they will be prioritized accordingly based on other user's requests as well. Let me merge this ticket for you with the VO2 Max ticket.

Randell many thanks. If you can get this done then you will app should be almost perfect to me. Also, i can see some strain calculated while doing functional workout on Apple Watch ( not yet used the planned strength function) and that’s very good thing to see an app calculate something for muscular strain. Keep up the good work!
One last note. HRV is far from Apple Watch and gave very low numbers compared to Apple health data.

Mohammed Zaki: Thanks for that and that's what we are aiming towards for.
For your question: This should be in the FAQ -
Superset offers two methods for measuring HRV. The first one uses the HRV values recorded by your Apple Watch. According to Apple, these values are calculated using the Standard Deviation of NN Intervals (SDNN) method.
The second is the Root Mean Square of Successive Differences (RMSSD) method. This method uses R-R intervals from your Apple Watch to calculate HRV and is also the default method that Superset uses. The RMSSD method is considered to be more accurate for calculating short-term recovery.
If you use the RMSSD method in Superset, the app will also apply a data-cleaning function to filter out noisy samples from your Apple Watch.

Randell Many thanks, do we have a date for this to be implemented? I can see it is pending since Nov 2023. Appreciate it.

Vo2 max generated by athlytic is just a made up number and far from science

Thanks Grey
Are you also going to calculate the Vo2 max for activities such as CrossFit/Cross Training/Indoor runs and other heavy heart rate workouts? Unfortunately Apple calculates the Vo2 max only for certain activities.

Thanks for the suggestion Eric Gasser. This is on my mental roadmap and I'll mark it as planned
