Weekly AI Health Check-up
in progress
Max
Occasionally, I download all my health data into Apple Health and use ChatGPT deep research to generate a monthly health report based on the latest scientific findings. It also identifies key elements that require special attention or areas I should focus on to maximize my health. Having such a feature in Bevel would be highly desirable. For instance, an AI-driven comprehensive health check-up could be conducted weekly.

Just saying no thank you, I absolutely do not want this. If it exists, it needs to be opt-in only.

Amanda I understand AJ's concerns. If such a function should be available, please opt out. There are a lot of people who value privacy and I DON'T want to share my health data with ChatGPT or anything like that. I would be interested in such a feature in principle, BUT only if this data is evaluated directly locally on my mobile phone and is not shared with anyone.

Hi Amanda I’m glad to see that you’re in my roadmap as well. Here’s a short summary I created with ChatGPT. I redacted specific values, so sadly it’s much more abstract than it would be if I directly outputted it to the user.
A great example of helpful and actionable feedback provided by ChatGPT based on my health data was the comprehensive AI-driven health analysis report. Without disclosing specific private health metrics, the feedback highlighted several key areas clearly and succinctly:
1. Body Composition & General Health:
ChatGPT identified a slightly elevated BMI and body fat percentage, emphasizing that these are areas for improvement, and provided actionable targets to optimize body composition.
2. Cardiovascular Fitness:
It pointed out that my cardiovascular fitness, assessed through metrics like VO₂max and resting heart rate variability (HRV), was below optimal levels, advising specific training routines—such as interval-based cardio exercises and gradually increasing daily activity levels.
3. Nutrition Insights:
The analysis detailed significant dietary adjustments needed, particularly reducing excess sugar and saturated fat consumption while suggesting practical dietary changes (e.g., integrating more protein, vegetables, healthy fats, and complex carbs).
4. Sleep Recommendations:
Though my sleep duration was generally adequate, the report suggested improving sleep consistency and quality through fixed sleeping schedules, sleep hygiene practices, and mindfulness routines.
5. Mental Health and Stress Management:
Given the self-disclosed context (e.g., stress or mood-related challenges), the feedback recommended structured daily routines, mindfulness meditation, and maintaining social connections as beneficial strategies.
6. Personalized Supplement Suggestions:
It provided evidence-based recommendations for supplementing certain vitamins and minerals where dietary intake was inconsistent, always grounded in scientific literature and reasoning.
Overall, the feedback was precise, insightful, and immediately actionable, enabling a clear path towards optimizing my health based on personal data trends. Integrating a similar weekly AI health check-up feature directly into Bevel could empower users with continuous, personalized insights, enhancing motivation and health outcomes significantly.

Hi Max, this is a great suggestion and something we've been thinking about a lot. Can you give an example of your ChatGPT findings that have been helpful & actionable for you so far?
Ronny
Amanda I detected I was in overtraining because ChatGPT calculated some common KPIs. It could pinpoint exactly what kind of training is pushing me too much and so on.
