Creating recipe

Hi Guys
Great new feature! I realise some bugs will need sorting. When creating recipes, I haven’t been able to add further ingredients to an existing recipe, plus, all ingredients always revert back to a single serve. A recipe is often a custom amount of ingredients, and can change from time to time.

Hi Scott Boucher, Can you please send a screen recording of this at hello@bevel.health
Randell
Scott Boucher: Are you able to upload it on your iCloud or somewhere and share the link here for us to view?
Or you can send it to my Reddit account: https://www.reddit.com/user/RandellZxc/
I think that would work

Scott Boucher: To add further ingredients to an existing food log, can you try to tap on the food log itself instead of pressing "+". Then tap the 3 dot icon -> Edit log details -> Additional Ingredients, add the ingredients that you want to add to the recipe.
Is this what you are looking for?
Randell
You can also save the recipe or add it to your Favorites. To log them again, go to "+" -> Log Recipe -> Favorites/Recipe. You can edit the ingredients there as well if you have anything you want to add.
Please let me know if you meant something else. Thanks!
Scott Boucher
Randell not really. I’m looking to create a recipe from scratch. Set the portion sizes in said recipe, so when I add the recipe to log it’s a one click operation. Right now I need to adjust portion sizes each time, and there is no way to even edit the name of a recipe. Say to be easy I create a new recipe with 1 apple 2 oranges and 3 bananas, it reverts back to one of each, then if I want to edit it, add a pear, I can, but the recipe reverts back to original without the pear each time I reuse it

Scott Boucher: Were you able to "Save as recipe" by going to the food log itself before you log it again? See my 2nd screenshot.
Also, on the 3rd screenshot, you will see a "pen" icon aligned with the recipe name, you can tap that to edit the said recipe.
Scott Boucher
Randell well yes, it creates a second recipe with the same name, but I can delete the first one? It’s not a very intuitive interface at this point, but I understand it’s new. My work flow would be create a new recipe, name it, add the ingredients in the amounts required then save it for one touch use when adding to food log. There should also be a straight forward way to edit existing recipes
Scott Boucher
That’s can’t delete above
Scott Boucher
You can see at the top of this one it says edit recipe details, but gives you no response when touching
Randell
Scott Boucher: Hi Scott, apologies for the late response.
All of your saved recipes should be in "My recipes" You can go to Bevel -> Nutrition -> 3 dot icon (Upper right corner) -> My recipes. This is where you can edit and delete recipes that you have saved.
Please note that your feedback is noted and I understand your point. The team is actively gathering feedback and working to improve the Nutrition feature.
