Energy bank - start of day always 100%

Sorry if this has been talked about already, I couldn't find anything. I have moved from garmin where they have body battery and this is the closest I can find on apple watch ultra. I'm currently on the trial and so far I think it's great. My only question is no matter what my level was before bed it always seems to start the day at 100% despite how well I've slept or how low it was the day before.
With garmin if I'd had a bad nights sleep or the day before was very physical it would start the day at a value representative of those parameters. On Saturday I stayed in a tent after spending all day Saturday pushing a bike up a hill so was pretty tired on Sunday morning but it showed 100%, garmin would have showed about 60-70% based on previous situations. So I think the 100% start is not a good indicator of how much energy I had for the day ahead.

Boddy Battery does not work

Every day I wake up with 100% body battery and that is unlikely. Garmin shows me information more in line with my daily sensations. Every day I can't be with 100%…

Hi Juan Sebastián Quijano Rodríguez, let me try and help you with this.
A couple of questions to help me figure out what's going on:
1.How long have you been wearing your AW? Do you have data every day in the last 90 days?
2.What method do you have HRV set to in settings? If you didn't change it, it should be set to RMSSD (Bevel in Calculation settings) by default.
3.Do you have AFib History turned on for the AW?
Also, Can you please send a screenshot of what your Energy Bank looks like including the Energy Usage at the bottom (See Sample Screenshot below)

Randell hi!
- i have only been using the AW for 1 week.
- The HRV method is by default.
- i don't have AFib activated on my AW.
P.S. I have seen that there are people who can detect their naps and they appear in Bevel, how do they do it?
Randell
Juan Sebastián Quijano Rodríguez: I see. For Energy Bank to be as accurate as possible, it's recommended that you have at least 30 days of continuous data for the watch to calibrate to your baseline.
2.I suggest that you stick to the default HRV Method
3.In addition, I recommend turning on AFib History to gather more data when you sleep.
This will significantly improve the accuracy of all metrics.

If, in a few weeks (or After 30 days), the data is still off for you, please let me know, and we will take a closer look.
For Naps, You can add it manually in your Sleep tab. It is the + icon beside the "Activities"
Detecting naps automatically is not yet implemented but some users as you saw were able to have it detected "Automatically" which might be a Bug. It happens rarely when you have two sleep segments that are far enough from each other.
Let me close this ticket for now.

Hi Philip Vines, thank you for the information and recording. I'm taking over for Randell here to help you look into this. A couple of questions to help me figure out what's going on:

Grey hi, I have been intermittently swapping between AWU2 and my garmin fenix 7 in the past 90 days. I have worn my AWU2 now for 16 days consecutively of which 8 of them I have been using Bevel.
I have never changed HRV setting so it must be set to default.
No I have not set up AFib history.
Thanks for looking at this and let me know if you need anymore info or for me to try anything.

Philip Vines: Got it. For Energy Bank to be as accurate as possible, it's recommended that you have at least 30 days of continuous data for the watch to calibrate to your baseline.
In addition, I recommend turning on AFib History to gather more data when you sleep. This will significantly improve the accuracy of all metrics.
If, in a few weeks, the data is still off for you, please let me know, and I can take a closer look. But from your recordings, I can't see any specific bugs, so it's most likely due to the baseline calibration.
I'll close this out for now. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Grey thanks. I'll see how it goes. I've got a few race weekends ahead that will no doubt result in my body being exhausted. I think the GUI of the app is great BTW, very user friendly and easy to navigate.
Grey
Philip Vines: Great thank you! Please let me know how it goes, and good luck with the races
