Hi Thomas McCulloch, Thanks for reporting this. Is the app consistently crashing on your end? if possible, can you please send your logs so we can investigate on this?
To send it, go to:
- Bevel Phone app -> Profile -> Scroll down to the bottom, tap "Send logs to Developer".
- Bevel Watch app -> Gear Icon -> Send logs.
Once done, please email me at hello@bevel.health the name and email address you've used to log in to the app

Let's start with the basics: where is the "Profile". I've looked all over, watching the synch data wheel spin, and seen about three more crashes, so decided to go to the source. I Have not tried to open the watch app

Found the "Send logs to developer;" I probably use Captom601@aol.com, although your response ended up going to Captom60174@gmail.com

Thomas McCulloch: Thanks! Please give us some time to look into your logs and investigate.

Thomas McCulloch: Hi Thomas, a small favor. Would you be able to share a screen recording of this issue?
Just to confirm the "app failed to sync; no heart data for several days; routinely crashing"
we don't need the app to actually "crash" even just the two other issues, if possible.
Please send it to hello@bevel.health
Just when you open the app and navigate through it is fine.

Thomas McCulloch: Hi Thomas, quick favor. Can you please go to Bevel -> Profile (upper right corner) -> Data Sources -> Heart Rate, screenshot the view for me?

Thomas McCulloch: Hm I see. Can you actually just go to Apple Health -> Sharing -> Apps, screenshot the view in there for me?

Thomas McCulloch: Hi, thanks for the screenshot, however, can you please not tap on Bevel? I just wanted which apps writes on your Apple Health app. If possible, please go to Apple Health -> Sharing -> Apps, screenshot the view for me.
T
Thomas McCulloch
Randell. By conservative estimate there are 115 apps listed as sources under Data; Bevel is one of them
T
Thomas McCulloch
Randell . were you looking for a list or the total number? Bevel is still continuously claiming to be synching
Randell
Thomas McCulloch: Hi, I am checking how many apps is writing to Apple Health and which apps are writing massive amounts of data, like for example the HR data.
Can you actually try the following for me?
- Go to Bevel -> Profile -> Customization -> Data Loading Window, change it back to 1 year.
- Go to Bevel -> Profile -> Data Sources -> Heart Rate, hide any other sources except the your Apple Watch.

Thomas McCulloch
Randell .When I go to Customization, I find that the option to turn on extended loading is NOT turned on;
When I get into the profile, I crash the app on several occasions
When I go to Data sources, I get a crash of the app; under integrations, there are no connected accounts; then I get another app crASH; I ONLY AVE THE SPINNING BALL OF DEATH UNDER HEALTH DATA; then another crash. sorry for the caps

Randell . I did respond, and yet I don't get the courtesy of any response back?

Thomas McCulloch: Hi Thomas, apologies for the late response on this. Over the holidays we are moving the reporting system via email which you can find by going to Bevel -> Profile -> Report a bug.
That said, we just released an improvement fix update for this issue 11 hours ago and I was meant to notify you about it.
Can you please kindly update your app to the latest version 2.4.2? see if this somehow fixes the issue for you?
Please note that this is not a full fix yet and we are aiming to fix the issue on the next update.
Also, when you are on 2.4.2, we recommend doing a quick clear cache and reload all data in Bevel. (Bevel -> Profile, scroll down to the bottom).

Thomas McCulloch
Randell . Updated and cache cleared---and will let you know what happens

Randell .Whatever you did, it now seems to be working. Thanks
