Hi David Resnick, For certain automatic journal tags, you must hit the threshold before it shows up on your Insights.
For the custom tags you created, can you please try to pull to refresh your Journal tab view and see if this will fix it for you?
Also, please send a screenshot if possible

Randell as you can see the tags do not show up at all in a way for me to mark them. I also don't know what a "automatic journal tag" is. My assumption is that all of the tags I've toggled on within the Customize Journal screen will show up in the main Journal tab.
Tried attaching a screen recording but it's 8mb max. Will attach a few screenshots.

Randell pull down to refresh didn't help

David Resnick: Hi, Automatic tags are tags that don't have a toggle for "X" "-" "✓". These tags will appear only once you have hit the threshold that you have set for the tag. For example, If you recorded 10+ mins of Strength training today, then it will show on your Journal tab view as "completed".
On your screenshot, you will see that there's an "Automatic" tab, these are the tags that have thresholds. You can also edit the thresholds on each automatic tag by tapping the "Gear Icon" next to the tag toggle.
For your custom tags, can you please swipe to the right on your Customize Journal view and see if the custom tags that you have added were toggled on?

Randelltjanks for the reply. I’m starting to understand? The UX is very confusing. FWIW I am on the Product Design team for Disney+.
My assumption, since it’s an item in Journal, which implies user action (ie journaling), is that every day I will go into Journal and tick off what I did or don’t do. There are certain items that I can see would be ticked off automatically, like if I log a 30 min workout in Apple Health then the journal item for 20 mins cardio would be ticked off. But I’m just not understanding how automatic items are logged and what it.

Aka my assumption is I can log breathing exercises without doing it in the Apple Mindfulness app but Breathing Exerxises isn’t showing up for me in the Bevel Journal tab

David Resnick Hi David, I am jumping in for Randell here.
You are correct that automatic journal tags will be marked as ✅ or ❌ depending on the state of your health data that Bevel can automatically collect.
By default, if the data is missing, then the automatic tags won't show up on your list to save space. However, I can see how that's confusing so we're updating this design in the next update to always show all states.
