Strength Training workout details not logging

When logging workout details in a Strength Training session, the app shows that the details are being saved and synced, but it doesn’t always. Even after logging workout details for some sessions multiple times, they show up blank a few hours later. I’m logging workout details from a template. This messes up overall weight lifting volume tracking, and it seems to be messing up cardio load as the app will report Overtraining on one day and then Detraining the very next day.
My app version is 2.2.8(2350), I’m capturing the workout with an Epix Pro in Garmin Connect as the data source, I’m running the app on my iPhone 15 Pro Max.

Hi Michael Garbers, Thanks for reporting this. I just wanted to confirm your current process for saving the workout and adding the workout details.
Please correct me if I’m wrong:
- You track the workout using your Garmin Epix Pro.
- The workout syncs to Apple Health.
- Once it appears in Bevel, you then add the Strength Workout details (reps, weights, etc.).
Is that correct?

Randell, yes, exactly 👍🏻

Michael Garbers: I see. I want to confirm something here and I need your help with it. Can you please help me by sharing a screenshot of:
Go to Apple Health -> Workouts -> Scroll down to the bottom, tap "Show all data" -> Tap on the workout that you are referring to here -> Screenshot the view of the details for me.

Randell here are the screenshots for yesterday / 28 October. This problem occurred multiple times throughout October for various strength workouts. Right now, details appear for all my October workouts after I reloaded yesterday
Randell
Michael Garbers: I see. Are you saying that it is now showing the complete details?

Randell, right now, workout details show for October workouts after last night’s updates

Michael Garbers: I see. Please keep an eye on it for now. If the data disappears again, try checking Apple Health and verify whether the “Date Added to Apple Health” has been updated. There’s a known issue where Garmin Connect sometimes “rewrites” or “re-logs” data in Apple Health, which could be causing this behavior.
