Track food

I've been tracking my diet with YAZIO for a very long time. Unfortunately, I don't like tracking the meal in this app at all. The values are very wide. The database is also not as good as YAZIO. And taking a photo of the meal with me is almost ridiculous when evaluated. Otherwise, the app is great and works as I imagine. But since food is a very important point for me, I will unfortunately not extend the subscription, which is not cheap, until the diet works perfectly. Greetings

Hi Hofrat, thanks for your feedback! Our Nutrition feature was released just 8 weeks ago and is constantly being improved thanks to feedback from users like you.
We'd love you to share your feedback and let us know what would make the app even more useful for you and what features or improvements you'd like to see.
To give us a better understanding of your experiences: How do you currently record your diet? By barcode capture, photo capture or using the “search/describe food” function?

Hi, thanks for responding to my report. Ah I didn't know that this function had only been integrated into the app for a short time. About my behavior right now: I scan a lot with bar codes and
At Yazi, I use the database, which is really very extensive and, in my opinion, has also had the best database in this area for many years. Creating a new food product also works perfectly and can then be made available to all users. In addition, foods that are used really often can be marked as favorites. I would be really interested in a photo. However, I have already tried a few apps and compared them again and again with the nutritional values, e.g. on the packs and here the fluctuations are unfortunately enormous. So I would definitely not rely on a result made/tracked with a photo. Not in any app right now. However, that would of course be perfect:).
I am always open to further questions.
Greetings 😁

Hofrat: Thanks for your detailed feedback. Most of the features you want are already included in our roadmap. For example, the option to prepare your own dishes, which was suggested by another user here https://feedback.bevel.health/feature-requests/p/create-own-food, is already planned. We appreciate your feedback. Should you have any further suggestions, feel free to use our feature request feedback board here https://feedback.bevel.health/feature-requests.
You can also mark a nutrition log as a “favorite” by tapping on the logged food -> 3-dot icon -> “Add to favorites”. You can then simply log it again by tapping “+” on “Nutritional value” -> Log recipe -> Favorites.
Thank you! I'm closing this ticket for now.
